Why we exist
When a parent suddenly needs care, most families discover the same two options: national referral hotlines that treat your mother as a lead to be routed, or going it alone against unpublished prices and polished sales tours. We started Cardinal Care Advisors because Western New York families deserved a third option — a local advisor who knows these communities personally, tells the truth about them, and sits on the family’s side of the table.
What we believe
- Guidance — real recommendations, not a directory dump. Three to five communities that fit, with an honest read on each, including the drawbacks.
- Trust — we disclose exactly how we’re paid, on every shortlist, every time. We show every fitting community whether or not it pays us.
- Stewardship — we treat your parent’s next chapter, and your family’s savings, the way we’d treat our own. That includes saying “none of these fit yet” when it’s true.
How we’re paid
Families never pay us anything. Senior living communities pay us a referral fee when a family we assist chooses to move in — the same way they pay the national platforms. The difference is that we tell you which communities have agreements with us, plainly, before you tour. Our recommendations don’t bend to the fee, and we’re glad to show you why on every tour.
Where we work
Erie and Niagara Counties: Buffalo, Amherst, Tonawanda, Kenmore, Williamsville, Cheektowaga, Hamburg, Orchard Park, West Seneca, Lancaster, Depew, Niagara Falls, Lockport, Lewiston, and the surrounding communities of Western New York.
Who’s behind it
Cardinal Care Advisors was founded in Buffalo by a lifelong Western New Yorker, and every family works directly with an advisor who lives here — not a call center. We’re a young company by design: small enough that our name is on every recommendation, local enough that we’ll see you at Wegmans. We’d rather earn trust family by family than claim a track record we haven’t built yet.
