HOME FAQ
Straight answers about how this works, what it costs, and how we’re paid. If yours isn’t here, call (716) 242-2235 — a person answers.
Yes — completely. Families never receive a bill from us, for anything. Senior living communities pay us a referral fee when a family we assist moves in, and we always tell you exactly which communities we have agreements with.
National platforms are call centers routing leads into a database. We're a local Buffalo advisory: we know these specific communities and directors, we share real current pricing, we tour beside you asking the hard questions, and we disclose which communities pay us. Same free-to-family model — completely different service.
Erie and Niagara Counties — Buffalo, Amherst, Tonawanda, Kenmore, Williamsville, Cheektowaga, Hamburg, Orchard Park, West Seneca, Lancaster, Depew, Niagara Falls, Lockport, Lewiston, and surrounding Western New York communities.
Assisted living, memory care, and independent living. If you're not sure which your parent needs, that's exactly what the first conversation is for — we'll walk through the differences and what fits.
We work discharge timelines regularly: same-day calls, shortlists within hours, and quickly arranged tours. If the clock is running, skip the form and call (716) 242-2235 directly.
Typical Western New York ranges: independent living $2,500–4,000/month, assisted living $4,500–6,500, memory care $6,000–8,500 — driven by care level, room type, and community fees. Our cost guide breaks down the full picture, and your shortlist includes each community's real current price.
We'll say so honestly rather than tour communities that can't work, and we'll point you toward the Medicaid Assisted Living Program and the Erie County Department of Senior Services. That guidance is free too.
No. We show every community that genuinely fits your parent's needs — and we mark plainly on your shortlist which ones have referral agreements with us and which don't.
Yes. When a move means a house full of fifty years of belongings, we help families coordinate the clear-out, estate sale, donations, and getting the home market-ready — usually at no cost to the family, because it's funded by what sells. Mention the house in your first call.
Your family, always. We advise, accompany, and negotiate — we never pressure. If none of the shortlist feels right, we say so and go back to the list.
Staff-to-resident ratios on nights and weekends, staff turnover, exactly what triggers a care-level price increase, the move-out and refund policy, how falls are handled, and what a resident's actual daily schedule looks like — the answers that separate a good brochure from a good community.
Not to start the search. Communities will eventually need certain paperwork, and questions about POA, health proxies, or estates belong with an elder law attorney — we're glad to point you to local resources, but we don't give legal advice.
We're independent. No community owns us, none gets exclusivity, and our referral agreements never change which communities appear on your shortlist — only our disclosure to you about them.
We check in with your family at 30, 60, and 90 days to make sure the community is delivering what it promised — and to help fix it if something's off. The goal was never a move-in; it's the right home.
